Welcome to Port-Canaveral-Cruising.com. If your travel plans include a cruise from Port Canaveral and a visit to the space coast this is the site that presents everything you need to know about the most "family friendly" cruise port in America.

Central Florida contains the most exciting and varied venues for family vacations you'll find anywhere in the country, with such nearby attractions as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. And what better way to enjoy a complete family getaway then by beginning or concluding it with a relaxing yet exhilarating cruise on one of the many modern cruise ships that call Port Canaveral their home. Whether on Carnival Cruise Lines "Glory" , Royal Caribbean's new "Mariner of the Seas", or one of the Disney Cruise Line ships, "Magic" and Wonder" you can't go wrong cruising from Port Canaveral.

Port Canaveral is the second busiest cruise port in the world, with more than 4.6 million passengers embarking each year. The number one port is Miami, but that's a two hundred more miles down Interstate 95. If you're looking for a drive-to-port in the southeast, Port Canaveral is an excellent choice. It's easily accessible from Interstate 95 via the Bee Line expressway (Route 528), which is a toll-free road from I-95 east into the Port.

The Port Canaveral area first came into the national consciousness during the space race of the 1950' and 60's, and one of the most interesting and timely attractions along the "space coast" is The Kennedy Space Center. You can read more about it on our page dedicated to the KSC.

In these pages we'll also provide details about driving directions, cruise lines, parking, Orlando attractions, Port Canaveral news and more. For an exciting video featuring all you can do when visiting Port Canaveral follow this link to our video page. Plus we'd like to hear from you about your Central Florida vacations, please submit your email reviews and comments here.
